Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria – December 19, 2021 – The Oke Umurhohwo Foundation is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the second edition of the Oke Umurhohwo Football Cup. This year’s tournament saw an impressive display of football talent and community spirit, culminating in a thrilling final at the Ughelli Township Stadium.
Kick-Off and Tournament Overview
The second edition of the Oke Umurhohwo Football Cup kicked off with great enthusiasm at the Ughelli Township Stadium. The opening ceremony, attended by excited fans and community members, set the stage for a thrilling series of matches. The tournament, which brought together 16 teams from various regions, showcased intense competition and outstanding athleticism. The kick-off marked the beginning of a memorable football event, celebrating talent, teamwork, and community spirit.
Final Match Highlights
The final match was an exhilarating contest between Delta Rangers of Ughelli North and Heroes Warrior of Okwagbe, Ughelli South. Delta Rangers emerged victorious with a 2-1 win, showcasing exceptional skill and determination.

In addition to the cash prizes for the top two teams, individual awards were also presented, including:

- Highest Goal Scorer Award
- Best Goalkeeper Award
